Bacteriological A128 Global is a pure Gelidium spp. Animal-free Seaweed derived alginate with little to no background pigment. It has excellent transparency, gel strength and hysteresis. This gelling agent is specifically for Microbiological pour plates, absent of inhibitors, with the required transparency for Scientific applications. American Agar, Bacteriological Grade is manufactured from a narrowly selected variety of Gelidium that produces a bacteriological grade agar second to none in its ability to support the growth of a wide variety of both fastidious and non-fastidious organisms.
