Barcroft AHMC is a co-processed active ingredient combining aluminum hydroxide and magnesium carbonate in grades with varying powder densities including micronized.
AHMC 0600 is powder grade (density of 0.3-0.4 µm) Ideally used in wet granulation process to manufactured antacid tablets.

AHMC 0611 is a micronized powder grade ideal for high dosage formulations used in single-dose mini stick packs or traditional bottle suspensions. It is traditionally used in wet granulation processing to manufacture antacid tablets, the micronization provides easy dispersion in suspensions, avoiding the need for special mixing devices, and low viscosity upon dilution. For customer benefit, micronized powders eliminate grittiness and ensure extremely even particle size distribution for optimal mouthfeel.
