IMWITOR® 375 enables novel nano emulsion-based drug delivery systems designed for oral and topical delivery. Ester of mono and diglycerides of unsaturated edible fatty acid with citric acid and lactic acid, chemical name Glyceryl Citrate/Lactate/Linoleate/Oleate. It can be used in Pharma, Cosmetic, Food and Nutraceuticals both oral and topical dosage forms. IMWITOR® 375 provides enhanced bioavailability in both pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products. It is a safe and versatile solubilizer. It shows a leading performance in terms of encapsulation efficacy, solubilization power, deep penetration and bioavailability e.g. Phospholipids and Polysorbates. It allows for encapsulation of hydrophilic, lipophilic and poorly soluble APIs. IMWITOR 375 allows new innovativeness for formulations and in bioavailability of drugs.
It also allows clean-labeling of Nutraceuticals by being PEG free, vegan and developed to avoid palm oil derivatives. It offers green chemistry, based on sunflower, sugar beet, sugar cane and rapeseed oil.
IMWITOR® 375 can be formulated into W/O/W as well as O/W nanoemulsions depending on the API and targeted API concentration.
